Carl's Secret Sauce for Steak

Ingredients
For 2-1/2" top sirloin steak (about 6lbs)
1/4c vegetable oil
2 tbsp shoyu
2 tbsp mirin
1 tbsp steak sauce
3/4 C brown sugar
2 tbsp hawaiian salt

Directions
  1. Place the vegetable oil, shoyu, mirin, and steak sauce into a baking pan and mix thoroughly.
  2. Hand rub onto steak, both sides and ends
  3. Rub brown sugar over all and sprinkle with salt
  4. Marinate for 1 hour
  5. Place on hoat coals (no flames), and sear both sides.
  6. Slice chateaubriand style and serve
