Banana Bread

- 3 or 4 ripe bananas, smashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter (75.6g)
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1-2 tbsp brown sugar for topping
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Mash bananas in a large mixing bowl
- Melt 1/3 C or 75.6g of butter and mix in with the mashed bananas
- Mix in the 3/4 C sugar, 1 egg, and 1 tsp vanilla.
- Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix in. Add the flour last, mix.
- Pour mixture into a buttered 4x8 inch loaf pan.
- Sprinkle brown sugar over the top
- Bake for 50 minutes.
Note: This is the best banana bread, better than America's Test Kitchen by far. Moist and not too sweet. Love it.
