Banana Bread

Ingredients
  • 3 or 4 ripe bananas, smashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter (75.6g)
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1-2 tbsp brown sugar for topping
Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. 
  2. Mash bananas in a large mixing bowl
  3. Melt 1/3 C or 75.6g of butter and mix in with the mashed bananas
  4. Mix in the 3/4 C sugar, 1 egg, and 1 tsp vanilla. 
  5. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix in. Add the flour last, mix. 
  6. Pour mixture into a buttered 4x8 inch loaf pan. 
  7. Sprinkle brown sugar over the top
  8. Bake for 50 minutes. 
Note: This is the best banana bread, better than America's Test Kitchen by far. Moist and not too sweet. Love it.
