Walnut and Garlic Pesto Pasta

Ingredients
12 oz dry spaghetti
1 1/2 C packed fresh basil (can also mix with fresh oregano, mint, tarragon, parsley, etc.)
6 cloves garlic
salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste
1/3 C walnuts
1/2 C olive oil
1/2 C grated parmesan
1 LemonHot pepper flakes

Directions
- Roughly chop garlic & herbs, pound in mortar & pestle or a food processor
- Add in 1/2 C of walnuts and pound
- Add in 1/4 C olive oil, mash, then the 1/4 left over
- Add in hot pepper flakes
- At this point, you can store the pasta in the fridge
- Make your pasta, pour on pesto and mix.
- Toss on grated parmesan then a few walnuts
- Squeeze on half a lemon
